2008 School Year Recap

'School's out, we can sleep as late as we want to.. it's our time, now we can do wateva we wanna do...' - adapted from High School Musical 2 "What Time Is It"..

so true, school holidays are here, exams over.. [well, not the form 5 students.. they're having spm now.. but chill, it'll be over b4 u noe it., ;) ] time to kick back and lie down.. watching ur favourite tv shows, chilling out wit frenz at ur fav hang outs, spending quality time wit ur family or boyfriend/girlfriend.. live's great aint it? yea, when u put it dat way..

well, skool's out and i've been wondering lik every year wat in the world had i achieved dis yr in skool as a form 3 ixorian? many things did happen throughout the yr.. lik me, a 1st-timer being a yr full-time ixorian.. things r totally different from kenanga as i noticed. the gurls here r quieter [which i'm not really used to.. i'm the noisy fella from kenanga if u've been noticing :D], WWWWWAYYY more hardworking than i ever do, more serious in every single thing and of cuz, grades high flying than any other form 3s in sbm.. dats where the trouble really begin..

"being the cream of all form 3, all of u here r suppose 2 study hard and make the skool proud and bla bla bla.." dats wat i've been hearing the whole yr thru.. cummon, they dun hav 2 repeat it again and again n again.. we know! the last thing i want is dat ppl keep telling me i'll get full As in my PMR.. gosh, not even my mum dares 2 say dat n look who's saying all dis.. it's damn pressurising if u dint notice..

so, in skool i've got the time where Emerald lost to Topaz in the march past competition dis yr.. No offence fellow Topaz but WTH! DATS OUR CHAMPIONSHIP! anyway, i experienced the lost of march past in Sports Day and not to mention the Uniform Body March Past Competition.. Terrible, utterly terrible.. well, as many ppl say, life's full of ups and downs..

Dis yr i had laughed till my stomach aches, cried my eyes out, cheering till my throat sores, screamed until my lungs burst.. i think u got it. but the most important lesson i learnt dis yr is dat things change, ppl change. i guess camellions r pretty lucky 2 hav such abilities to easily adapt to the surroundings while us humans juz hav to well, drop and get up again.. but how many ppl can actually do dat without any doubts? dats only natural.. i've fell hard, reluctant 2 get up until i've finally realised how beautiful is the outside world rather than the hole i've been refusing 2 get out from.. someone pulled me up and gave me a chance 2 see how the sun could shine thru the thick dark clouds, showed me how every cloud bound 2 hav a silver lining.. i appreciate the help and i couldnt help myself having some 'click' wit dis could i say angel dat brought me out from the gloom i've been in.. whoever u r, thank you.. my world wudnt hav be the same without ur helping hand.

so, 2008 skool yr had been great and fun wit all of u guyz out there.. i'll try 2 list down the ppl helped me gone thru dis yr.. if i've missed out some of u out there pls tell me so.. without u guyz, i wudnt hav grow up..

mum, sis - siew fong and siew fang, bro - chee mun, dad, brownie, anngie, alson, kar woon, mun yew, elizabeth, boe shyee, seow yen, chew yan, ooi, gloria, shekinah, ru yen, ying li, huoy shin, ru yi, khee yang, peai yee, seok qing, xin mei, jie xin, sheng yi, teachers.. the list goes on and on and on.. i wud hav miss many of u but the things u did 2 make me grow up, dat, i'll not 4get..
